Final Countdown

Wild Bounty

Where has time gone? It seems to be evaporating these past few months! I’ve been so busy setting up our Wild Bounty natural health food store here in Hong Kong that I haven’t had a chance to write. Moving to Asia for work I’ve had to adapt hard and fast to my new surroundings and there have already been invaluable things I’ve learnt over the past 4 months…

  1. Summertime in Hong Kong is more gumboots and umbrellas than bikinis.
  2. Typhoon signal 8 is NOT good! I learnt that one last week when the whole city ground to a halt thanks to ‘phantom’ Typhoon Utor.
  3. Fresh New Zealand produce is underrated!
  4. Work only stops in Hong Kong when you close your eyes to sleep.

Now back to the business of work… I’m very excited to see Wild Bounty, our brand-spanking new range of 100% New Zealand made natural health supplements and skincare range touching down in Hong Kong, all prepped and ready for hitting the local market. After six months of hard graft (developing the range, designing packaging, shaping store fit out, renovations, hiring staff, getting the branding sorted…), everything is pulling together nicely and we’ve only got one month to go till the big launch. Bring it on!

Hong Kong is home to 7.1 million people, making it one of the most populated cities on Earth. With little farmland and virtually no agricultural sector it imports over 90% of its food. The major concern is of the foods quality, when 92% of that imported food comes from mainland China. Wild Bounty offers an easy solution to the typical Hong Kong diet that may be missing many essential nutrients. The rich, pure and completely natural New Zealand source of ingredients makes the Wild Bounty range more nutritious and digestible than your generic OTC vitamins and minerals. Wild Bounty is pure health food in a capsule… and it looks damn good if I don’t say so myself!

Watch this space for more Wild Bounty updates leading up to the big launch. And don’t worry if you live outside Hong Kong – Wild Bounty will be available online very soon…

About the author
New Zealand based Nature Bee was born in 1997 when Jeff and Ben Cook joined forces. The father / son team discovered a special process developed by Canterbury University, still considered to be ground breaking today, that unlocks the nutrients of bee pollen, making it far more digestible than normal bee pollen. This proprietary process was later to be named the ‘potentiation process' and is continually used only by Nature Bee on their New Zealand bee pollen. Nature Bee is now available in almost every country in the world.
