Cure Kids’ Red Nose Day TV Commercial

2 weeks ago I was fortunate enough to be part of the Cure Kids’ Red Nose TV Commercial. The shoot took place on a very gloomy Sunday – it was cold, wet and oh so miserable but inside the studio the kids turned the day into so much fun. I was considering kidnapping a few of them as they were so adorable!

Cure Kids’ Red Nose Day is a “fun” national campaign that celebrates local communities, embraces the light-hearted Kiwi culture, and supports children across New Zealand. A simple idea created over two decades ago, the campaign encourages everyone to let go, laugh, and be silly…all for a serious cause. Funds raised through Cure Kids Red Nose Day will be invested in vital medical research into childhood illnesses.

For the 2011 Red Nose television commercial and music video the Cure Kids team have again refreshed the original chart-topping song “You Make the Whole World Smile” recording it with Bayfield School’s talented 7-year old, Izzy Christie, choir and ukulele orchestra along with some of New Zealand’s most loved celebrities.

This year there are many ways you can get involved and make a difference to the future health of our children. You can get involved by making a minimum $2 donation for your little red nose; by buying a packet of New Zealander’s favorite Jaffa’s or a winning ticket in the “Great New Zealand Jaffa Race” or by downloading the New Zealand Red Nose Day iPhone App or this year’s distinctive version of ‘You Make the Whole World Smile’; or by buying the Cure Kids NATUREBEE pack (6 month supply, FREE packet of Lemon & Propolis Lozenges & FREE Healthy Decisions Magazine) for only $99.95 and $10 of the purchase will be donated on your behalf. About the author
New Zealand based Nature Bee was born in 1997 when Jeff and Ben Cook joined forces. The father / son team discovered a special process developed by Canterbury University, still considered to be ground breaking today, that unlocks the nutrients of bee pollen, making it far more digestible than normal bee pollen. This proprietary process was later to be named the ‘potentiation process' and is continually used only by Nature Bee on their New Zealand bee pollen. Nature Bee is now available in almost every country in the world.
